Who Are the BBTN Legacy Builders?

The BBTN Legacy Builders are a dedicated team of former twirlers, coaches, enthusiasts, and adult family members who are passionate about creating lasting change in the sport of baton twirling. This group plays a vital role in advocacy, fundraising, event support, and mentorship, ensuring that twirlers of color have access to opportunities, resources, and a strong community.

As a Legacy Builder, you are helping shape the future of twirling by supporting BBTN’s mission and creating pathways for the next generation of twirlers to thrive.

Legacy Builder Responsibilities

✅ Advocacy & Awareness

Represent BBTN at twirling competitions, performances, and community events.
Share BBTN’s mission and impact to build awareness and increase engagement.
Promote and engage with BBTN’s social media content to help amplify its reach.
Help recruit new members and supporters.

✅ Fundraising & Sponsorships

Participate in and help promote BBTN fundraising campaigns.
Leverage personal and professional networks to help secure sponsorships and donations.
Assist with donor appreciation efforts and engagement.
Support the identification and application of grant opportunities aligned with BBTN’s mission.

✅ Mentorship & Community Support

Encourage and uplift twirlers by sharing knowledge, experience, and guidance.
Support twirlers at performances, competitions, and showcases.
Create a welcoming and inclusive environment for twirlers and their families.

Legacy Builder Expectations

Stay engaged by participating in our program initiatives
Promote BBTN by sharing social media content and supporting outreach efforts.
Support fundraising by helping secure at least one donation or sponsorship per year.
Attend virtual meetings or stay updated on key discussions.
